Welcome to Wyldrose Corgis. Our Corgis are like members of our family…they are our ‘shadows’. They are willing to please and are very loyal companions. They love to be with our children, following them around while they play and do outside chores.  They are a huge part of our life and bring a lot of joy to our family.  They are also a lot of work, and being at home full time allows us to give them the attention they need. 

While our Corgis enjoy going for runs in the pastures and are excellent barn dogs, we do have large, shady yards and a small kennel set-up to keep them safe. 

Our Corgis are on heartworm prevention and a vaccination/deworming program to help keep them healthy. Age appropriate health screens are done that include a DNA test for vWD (von Willibrands Disease) which is a blood clotting disorder.  X-rays of their hips are sent to the Othopedic Foundation for Animals to be rated and no Corgi is used for breeding that shows signs of hip dysplaysia.  Eye clearances are also being done.  I do not breed any Corgi with a known health issue.
